IAC Academy of Language and Overseas Study is accepting applications from native English speakers to fill a vacancy for a full-time English teaching position that will begin in late July with training and officially start in August.
Our team of English teachers come from around the world and work together with bilingual Japanese staff to make a great team! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join IAC Okinawa!
The English Conversation Teacher position involves teaching English to a variety of levels and age groups from preschoolers to adults. Though there is a variety of classes in the schedule, the majority of classes will be elementary aged children. The schedule is Tuesday to Friday 1:00-9:30 and Saturdays from 9:00-6:00. Sundays and Mondays are off.
Applicants must be native English speakers, professional, hardworking, friendly and show commitment to the IAC team and the students. Experience teaching and university degree are preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching kids and genuinely enjoy interacting with children.
IAC offers a competitive ¥200000 monthly salary for full time teachers and free accommodation at an apartment located a close distance to the school. We also provide a travel allowance for our teachers for the commute to and from home. A relocation assistance fee for applicants relocating to Okinawa can also be arranged. Work Visa Sponsorship is also available for our full-time teachers who hold a university degree.
