Outpatient Medical Coder

Certified medical coders needed on a full-time basis to provide medical coding, auditing and training on this long term, exciting project. Standard Technology, Inc. Review of medical record documentation and code physician services utilizing current ICD-9 and CPT classifications systems. Excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and experience working with physicians a plus. Able to work independently and effectively in order to meet work quota. Follow up on issues or trends found within the documentation of a particular physician for evaluation and refer to auditor as necessary.
-Prior Military Health System experience preferred.
-Willingness to relocate overseas
- 2 years work experience in coding
-CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required.
Qualified applicants will also have APV and ER coding experience
