Unique Japan Event Sales Manager
at Unique Japan (Anywhere)
Qualifications:
> Japanese national (male/female), (any age from 20s and above)
> Conversational Bilingual (Japanese/English)
> Past experience in a kitchen as a chef, or a culinary school graduate or just a love of cooking is preferred
> Outgoing friendly and enthusiastic personality
> Loves to share Japanese culture with Americans
> Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and other weekdays if needed
> Driver's license is a plus
Unique Japan holds regular sales events on US Military bases throughout Okinawa, Guam, Korea and mainland Japan. We are looking for bilingual Sales Managers to sell our range of Japan's sharpest most beautiful kitchen knives to US Military personnel primarily at AAFES concessionaire locations.
A a Sales Manager you will lead these events and educate the customers on the differences between the knives, their unique purposes, their cultural history and other such important information. As part of the job, demonstrating the knives in front of customers helps to communicate their purpose and generates sales.
Unique Japan has been performing such events for 2 years on US Military Bases and our wonderful customer base is growing rapidly. Everyone LOVES our kitchen knives because they are best in Japan and we offer the best service too. We have an organized system in which we display the products and cool uniform, and a script to follow as a guide. We can also train the Sales Manager on how to cut vegetables and other food properly using these excellent kitchen tools.
It is vital that the Japanese Sales Manager speaks English at a comfortable level and demonstrates utmost confidence to prospective customers. These events are a lot of FUN and it is a PERFECT job for someone who loves to meet people is enthusiastic about sales and enjoys the freedom to travel around Okinawa and possibly Guam, Korea and Mainland Japan. This is definitely NOT a boring job.
Payment and Schedule
¥1,000 per hour base with sales BONUS for great results
Interviews start in July (with possible work in July)
Most weekends from September (and some weekdays)
Many events will be at AAFES locations on Kadena BX and Camp Foster BX
Base Pass
A base pass will be provided by Unique Japan that can be used throughout Okinawa
